Titania – Cashmere silk lace weight hand dyed yarn – Gradient yarn – Bloodraven
Yarn name: Titania
Fiber content: 50% cashmere, 50% mulberry silk
Yardage per 100g: 1300m (1422yd)
Type of colorway: Gradient
This is very soft and silky 2ply lace weight yarn spunk from cashmere and mulberry silk. It is great for knitting shawls, stoles or scarves. As cashmere fibers in general are shorter than merino the yarn is not as strong as merino/silk of the same yardage would be so you need to treat it with more care.
Photos: I try to make my photo as close to the original yarn as possible, but please take into account that monitors settings can affect colors so there might be a difference between the real colors and how you see them on your computer.
Care: hand wash in cool water, do not leave in a detergent for too long, use only detergents designed specifically for wool and silk garments.
Dyes: I use professional acid dyes, but some discharge of color may occur during washing/soaking, especially if a colorway has very saturated colors.
My family don’t smoke and have no pets.
