Handspun handpainted merino/silk 2 ply thick and thin yarn – Variegated gradient – Pastels

Texture:               2ply, thick and thin, worsted spun
Fiber content:    50% extra fine merino wool (19 micron), 50% mulberry silk

Colors: pale lemon yellow, pale pink, beige

This is next to skin soft 2ply yarn that I spun from one of my dyed tops (merino/mulberry silk). It is softly spun and plied yarn, almost no sheen despite the fact that it has a high silk content. I have fulled the yarn and I do not like how it turned out (no sheen and strands look untidy in some places) so I am placing a discount on it.

Please note that tape on the last photo shows only centimeters (on the left), no inches there.

Photos: I try to make my photo as close to the original yarn as possible, but please take into account that monitors settings can affect colors so there might be a difference between the real colors and how you see them on your computer.

Care: hand wash in cool water, do not leave in a detergent for too long, use only detergents designed specifically for wool and silk garments.

Dyes: I use professional acid dyes, but some discharge of color may occur during washing/soaking, especially if a colorway has very saturated colors.

My family don’t smoke and have no pets.
